MOHNTON, Pa. - Looking to qualify No. 1 for the seventh straight race, Brittany Force powered to a great start, taking the provisional top spot and setting the track speed record at Maple Grove Raceway on Friday at the 36th annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil. Robert Hight (Funny Car), Kyle Koretsky (Pro Stock) and Angelle Sampey (Pro Stock Motorcycle) are also the provisional No. 1 qualifiers at the 14th of 20 races during the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season and the first race in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
Top Fuel provisional No. 1 qualifier Brittany Force drove her Flav-R-Pac / Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster to a 3.666 second pass at 335.57 mph. Brittany Force continued her qualifying dominance at the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals Presented By Pennzoil when she ran a 3.666-second pass at 335.57 mph to take the provisional No. 1 spot at Maple Grove Raceway.
Funny Car provisional No. 1 qualifier Robert Hight drove his Automobile Club of Southern California Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car to a 3.883 second pass at 330.39 mph. Robert Hight clocked a 3.883-second lap at 330.39 in his Camaro on Friday night at Maple Grove Raceway at the first event of the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
Pro Stock provisional No. 1 qualifier Kyle Koretsky drove his Lucas Oil Chevrolet Camaro to a 6.547 second pass at 209.98 mph. At his home track, Pro Stock driver Kyle Koretsky powered to a 6.547-second pass at 209.98 mph to seed himself in the provisional top spot at Maple Grove Raceway.
Pro Stock Motorcycle provisional No. 1 qualifier Angelle Sampey rode her Mission Foods Vance & Hines Suzuki to a 6.761 second pass at 198.85 mph. Former Pro Stock Motorcycle champ Angelle Sampey rode her Suzuki to the top of the field on Friday when she went 6.761-seconds at 198.85 mph to take the provisional No. 1 spot at the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals Presented By Pennzoil.
