Top Fuel Harley Qualifying Notes, Final Session

MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Top Fuel Harley at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 36th annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Bill Jackson No Time, Now #8; Best prior run: 10.402/78.35, Was #8
Right Lane: John Toth Runs 11.631/76.31, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.570/137.88, Was #7

Jackson started to drift out of the groove and collected the centerline cones.

Toth lost traction nd clicked it off.

Left Lane: Rich Vreeland Runs 6.808/194.02, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.683/198.50, Was #6

Vreeland with a clean pass, but will not improve.

Left Lane: Randal Andras Runs 7.066/194.97, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.542/211.86, Was #4
Right Lane: Ryan Peery Runs 6.433/216.79, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.465/216.10, Was #3

Andras clicked it off early.

Peery launched hard and kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend. he will stay in the number three spot. Ryan Peery's incremental times: 60ft-1.149 sec., 330ft-2.872, 660ft-4.228/178.38 mph, 1,000ft-5.406.

Left Lane: Jay Turner Runs 6.405/227.80, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.337/220.91, Was #1
Right Lane: Bob Malloy Runs 6.431/217.21, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.347/229.94, Was #2

Turner with another good pass, but will not improve. He holds on to the number one spot. He holds on to the number one spot for the second time this season and 11th time in his career. Jay Turner's incremental times: 60ft-1.124 sec., 330ft-2.861, 660ft-4.215/182.26 mph, 1,000ft-5.390.

Malloy is straight down the groove with a good looking pass. He has the second quickest pass of the session. Bob Malloy's incremental times: 60ft-1.107 sec., 330ft-2.865, 660ft-4.229/181.37 mph, 1,000ft-5.408.
