BROWNSBURG, Ind. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 67th annual Dodge//SRT NHRA U.S. Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Right Lane: Charles Poskey Runs 7.162/186.87, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 74 degrees, relative humidity 58 percent, barometer 30.04 inches, adjusted altitude 2,376 feet.

Poskey made his NHRA debut earlier this year in Atlanta.

He is straight down the groove with a clean pass.

Left Lane: Ron Tornow Runs 7.087/189.10, Now #1
Right Lane: Chris Bostick Runs 7.160/185.84, Now #2

Tornow with good pass.

Bostick with new bike.

Left Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 6.970/191.97, Now #2
Right Lane: Hector Arana Jr Runs 6.871/196.64, Now #1

Phillips with a clean pass.

Arana Jr. is making his third appearance on tour this year and first since Charlotte. He kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove. Hector Arana Jr's incremental times: 60ft-1.065 sec., 330ft-2.858, 660ft-4.392/159.49 mph, 1,000ft-5.731.

Left Lane: David Barron No Time, Now #7
Right Lane: Jianna Salinas Runs 7.057/191.02, Now #3

Barron broke right off the starting line.

Salinas with a good clean pass.

Left Lane: Kelly Clontz Runs 7.146/184.98, Now #6
Right Lane: Cory Reed Runs 6.998/187.83, Now #3

Clontz straight down the groove.

Reed with a nice pass to go to the number three spot.

Left Lane: Jim Underdahl Runs 7.160/190.43, Now #8
Right Lane: Joey Gladstone Runs 7.012/192.36, Now #4

Underdahl straight down the groove.

Gladstone with a good looking pass.

Left Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 7.138/198.03, Now #8
Right Lane: Karen Stoffer Runs 6.954/190.48, Now #2

It sounded like Hines bike bogged at the hit.

Stoffer launched hard and goes to the number two spot. Karen Stoffer's incremental times: 60ft-1.079 sec., 330ft-2.878, 660ft-4.421/158.15 mph, 1,000ft-5.781.

Left Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 6.826/199.40, Now #1
Right Lane: Ryan Oehler Runs 7.003/191.76, Now #6

Krawiec kept it hooked up and goes to the number one spot. Eddie Krawiec's incremental times: 60ft-1.080 sec., 330ft-2.868, 660ft-4.382/161.32 mph, 1,000ft-5.701.

Oehler with a nice pass to get into the top half of the show. Ryan Oehler's incremental times: 60ft-1.088 sec., 330ft-2.906, 660ft-4.464/156.99 mph, 1,000ft-5.833.

Left Lane: Angie Smith Runs 6.886/197.16, Now #4
Right Lane: Scotty Pollacheck Runs 6.866/197.74, Now #2

This was a good looking side-by-side drag race.

Smith with nice pass, straight down the groove to the number four spot. Angie Smith's incremental times: 60ft-1.088 sec., 330ft-2.893, 660ft-4.419/160.54 mph, 1,000ft-5.750.

Pollacheck straight down the groove to the number two spot. Scotty Pollacheck's incremental times: 60ft-1.089 sec., 330ft-2.903, 660ft-4.416/162.16 mph, 1,000ft-5.737.

Left Lane: Angelle Sampey Runs 6.924/187.94, Now #6
Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.892/200.17, Now #5

Sampey goes to the number six spot. Angelle Sampey's incremental times: 60ft-1.067 sec., 330ft-2.878, 660ft-4.410/159.32 mph, 1,000ft-5.756.

Smith bogged right at the hit, but gets it make a big top end charge. Matt Smith's incremental times: 60ft-1.095 sec., 330ft-2.948, 660ft-4.462/162.68 mph, 1,000ft-5.774.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 6.860/196.56, Now #2

Johnson was shut off earlier because of the rain. He launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number two spot. Steve Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-1.080 sec., 330ft-2.870, 660ft-4.392/160.48 mph, 1,000ft-5.721.

Right Lane: Marc Ingwersen Runs 7.116/186.33, Now #15

Ingwersen is straight down the groove with a clean pass.
