BROWNSBURG, Ind. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Modified at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 67th annual Dodge//SRT NHRA U.S. Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Sidnei Frigo No Time, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 53 percent, barometer 30.06 inches, adjusted altitude 2,521 feet.

Frigo made a quick move toward the centerline and crossed it.

Left Lane: Rick Hord No Time, Now #3
Right Lane: Jason Scruggs Runs 6.117/244.47, Now #1

Hord got real loose and hit the left wall, the car then back across and hit the right wall. The car then went on down the track and stopped in the sand.

Scruggs with a clean pass...

Left Lane: Dwanye Wolfe Runs 6.257/241.89, Now #2
Right Lane: Jerico Balduf Runs 11.983/69.46, Now #3

Wolfe with a clean pass.

Balduf lost traction early and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Lyle Barnett Runs 5.915/240.85, Now #2
Right Lane: Jim Whiteley Runs 5.907/243.94, Now #1

Barnett with a good pass to start the weekend.

Whiteley is straight down the groove.

Left Lane: Jeffery Barker Runs 5.797/247.79, Now #1
Right Lane: JR Gray Runs 9.286/96.89, Now #6

Smith and Castellana had done their burnouts when the call from down track to shut them off it is sprinkling.

We are back after about a half hour delay.

Barker is straight down the groove with a real nice pass. Jeffery Barker's incremental times: 60ft-0.967 sec., 330ft-2.569, 660ft-3.822/197.42 mph, 1,000ft-4.891.

Gray shook and clicked it off.

Right Lane: Khalid alBalooshi Runs 6.253/236.42, Now #5

Winters is real loose right at the hit and clicked it off.

alBalooshi labored off the starting line, but stayed with it.

Left Lane: Steve Jackson Runs 5.782/247.34, Now #2
Right Lane: Justin Bond Runs 5.758/249.44, Now #1

This was a good looking side-by-side drag race.

Jackson is straight down the groove to the number two spot. Steve Jackson's incremental times: 60ft-0.956 sec., 330ft-2.542, 660ft-3.798/196.73 mph, 1,000ft-4.873.

Bond launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Justin Bond's incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.554, 660ft-3.791/198.32 mph, 1,000ft-4.857.

Left Lane: Brandon Snider Runs 5.877/237.50, Now #4
Right Lane: Jose Gonzalez Runs 6.107/240.21, Now #7

Snider is straight down the groove and had a lot of smoke trailing the car across the finish line. The word is the track is clean.

Gonzalez with a clean pass. Jose Gonzalez's incremental times: 60ft-0.956 sec., 330ft-2.667, 660ft-4.046/184.12 mph, 1,000ft-5.172.

Left Lane: Rickie Smith Runs 5.750/249.35, Now #1
Right Lane: Mike Castellana Runs 5.952/240.72, Now #8

Smith launched hard and kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to go the number one spot. Rickie Smith's incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.565, 660ft-3.801/200.50 mph, 1,000ft-4.854.

Castellana with a clean pass to get into the top half of the field. Mike Castellana's incremental times: 60ft-0.967 sec., 330ft-2.598, 660ft-3.901/189.47 mph, 1,000ft-5.017.
