BROWNSBURG, Ind. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Fuel Harley at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 67th annual Dodge//SRT NHRA U.S. Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Jacob Stordeur Runs 8.555/195.08, Now #1
Right Lane: Chris Smith Runs 10.172/102.18, Now #2

Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 53 percent, barometer 30.06 inches, adjusted altitude 2,521 feet.

Stordeur starts to lose traction and is off and on the throttle.

Smith is up in smoke early.

Left Lane: Tim Kerrigan Runs 15.034/46.78, Now #4
Right Lane: Ryan Peery Runs 6.792/163.00, Now #1

Kerrigan lost traction right at the hit.

Peery clicks it off early.

Left Lane: Bill Jackson Runs 23.172/33.37, Now #6
Right Lane: Tyler Wilson Runs 7.035/152.38, Now #2

Jackson lost traction right at the hit.

Wilson is up in smoke.

Left Lane: Bob Malloy Runs 6.669/208.42, Now #2
Right Lane: Jay Turner Runs 6.520/217.49, Now #1

A couple good passes.

Malloy is straight down the groove...Bob Malloy's incremental times: 60ft-1.159 sec., 330ft-2.957, 660ft-4.364/174.77 mph, 1,000ft-5.599.

Turner kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Jay Turner's incremental times: 60ft-1.153 sec., 330ft-2.920, 660ft-4.302/176.26 mph, 1,000ft-5.490.

Right Lane: Randal Andras Runs 7.271/208.62, Now #6

Tharpe started to lose traction and was off and on the throttle.

Andras was right there with him.
