CONCORD, N.C. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 11th annual NGK NTK NHRA Four-Wide Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 74 degrees, relative humidity 47 percent, barometer 30.25 inches, adjusted altitude 1,727 feet, track temperature 94 degrees.
Josh Hart is competing at his first 4-Wide event.
Hart with the starting line advantage and finished second in this quad.
Kalitta was second off the line and make his quickest pass of the weekend to win this quad.
Wurtzel is just off his qualifying time to finish fourth.
Torrence was last off the starting line and he runs his quickest pass of the weekend to finish third in this quad.
Finish Order & Margins: 1. Doug Kalitta was 0.0083 sec./about 4 feet ahead of 2. Josh Hart, who was 0.028 sec./about 13 feet ahead of 3. Billy Torrence, who was 0.144 sec./about 66 feet ahead of 4. Kyle Wurtzel

This is the 2nd consecutive race that Shawn Langdon has qualified 11th.
Langdon is first off the starting line, but has problems on the top end and slows.
Antron Brown is 7 -3 in rd. 1 at this event.
Brown is second off the line and first to the finish line to advance.
Krista Baldwin is the 19th woman to qualify for an NHRA TF field.
Baldwin is last off the starting line, but she runs her career quickest and fastest pass to finish second and advance to the next round. Her first round win.

Leah Pruett has qualified in the top half at 44 of her last 50 races.
Pruett's engine started to go away and she slowed.

Millican is last off the line and then has a big engine explosion with fireball. He finishes second in the quad and advances to the next round. He still runs his quickest pass of the weekend. The word from the top end there is oil and this is his third of the season and will cost him 15 points.
Morrison is first off the line, but then starts to lose traction and clicks it off.
Ashley goes red and then runs his quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort.
Brittany Force is 18 - 3 in rd. 1 when starting from the #1 spot.
Force is second off the line, she runs low E.T. of race day to win this quad. she sets the track speed record.
Force will have lane choice, Kalitta will get second choice, Hart will get third choice and Millican will go where they put.
Finish Order & Margins: 1. Brittany Force was 0.1755 sec./about 83 feet ahead of 2. Clay Millican, who was 4.417 sec./more than 100 feet ahead of 3. Joe Morrison, who was Green ahead of 4. Justin Ashley who was Red

allen was last off the line, but ran his career best E.T. in the losing effort.
Salinas is third off the starting line, he has the second quickest pass of the quad. He will not advance because Foley beat him on a hole shot.
Foley was second off the line and finished second in this quad on a hole shot.
Steve Torrence wins 76% of his rd. 1 races when he has lane choice.
Torrence is first off the line and runs the quickest pass of race day for the win.
Torrence will have lane choice, foley will get the second choice, Brown with get the third pic and Baldwin will go where they send her.
