CONCORD, N.C. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 11th annual NGK NTK NHRA Four-Wide Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Lane 1: Kyle Wurtzel Runs 3.885/314.68, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.669/80.72, Was #13
Lane 2: Luigi Novelli Runs 4.131/283.55, Now #8; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 33 percent, barometer 30.27 inches, adjusted altitude 1,524 feet.

Wurtzel kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove to move into the top half of the show. Kyle Wurtzel's incremental times: 60ft-0.874 sec., 330ft-2.198, 660ft-3.120/276.24 mph.

Novelli is mixing up cylinders on the top end, but gets in the show.

Morrison clicked it off early on the top end.

Hull with a big fireball early in the run.

Baldwin is straight down the groove with a great looking pass. This is her career quickest pass to move into the top half of the show. Krista Baldwin's incremental times: 60ft-0.884 sec., 330ft-2.240, 660ft-3.154/278.23 mph.

Foley is straight down the groove to get into the top half of the show. Doug Foley's incremental times: 60ft-0.864 sec., 330ft-2.186, 660ft-3.080/284.69 mph.

Ashley kept it hooked up and started to drift out of the groove and over by the wall. He moves from outside the show to the top half of the show. Justin Ashley's incremental times: 60ft-0.852 sec., 330ft-2.172, 660ft-3.056/289.01 mph.
