Force with the starting line advantage, Tasca III had the lead at 60 feet. Force grabs the lead by 330 feet, but Tasca III gets the lead back in the lights. This is a great Funny Car final. Bob Tasca III's MOV: 0.0038 seconds (approximately 22 inches).

Tasca III wins in back-to-back races, his second this year and the eighth of his career.
