Pro Stock Qualifying Notes, Final Session

LAS VEGAS - Notes from final, round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 20th annual Dodge NHRA Finals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Steve Graham Runs 6.763/203.06, Now #16; Best prior run: 15.881/83.23, Was #20
Right Lane: Fernando Cuadra Runs 8.818/107.97, Now #19; Best prior run: 13.667/62.10, Was #19

Graham is straight down the groove to get in the show. Steve Graham's incremental times: 60ft-1.004 sec., 330ft-2.818, 660ft-4.341/161.29 mph, 1,000ft-5.654.

Cuadra is loose and over by the centerline before he clicked it off.

Left Lane: Troy Coughlin Jr. Runs 6.670/205.60, Now #13; Best prior run: 10.060/90.31, Was #20
Right Lane: Aaron Strong Runs 6.724/204.35, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.826/203.77, Was #17

Coughlin Jr. is straight down the groove to get in the show, up to the number 13 spot. Troy Coughlin Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.776, 660ft-4.278/163.67 mph, 1,000ft-5.576.

Strong is driving an Elite car this weekend. He gets in the show on the bump spot. Aaron Strong's incremental times: 60ft-1.000 sec., 330ft-2.804, 660ft-4.316/162.72 mph, 1,000ft-5.624.

Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 6.728/204.54, Now #18; Best prior run: 7.217/145.61, Was #19
Right Lane: Val Smeland Runs 6.727/205.66, Now #17; Best prior run: 6.756/205.47, Was #17

Prusiensky's crew are dressed up everything camping in honor of the new Series Sponsor Camping World.

These two are side-by-side all the way down the 1320...neither driver is going to get in the show.

Alan Prusiensky's incremental times: 60ft-0.989 sec., 330ft-2.796, 660ft-4.315/161.90 mph, 1,000ft-5.626.

Val Smeland's incremental times: 60ft-1.005 sec., 330ft-2.812, 660ft-4.326/162.98 mph, 1,000ft-5.630.

Left Lane: Cristian Cuadra Runs 6.711/204.11, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.709/204.23, Was #15
Right Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.653/204.91, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.650/205.79, Was #10

Cuadra with a clean pass, but will not improve. He makes the third quickest pass of the session. Cristian Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.806, 660ft-4.313/163.10 mph, 1,000ft-5.614.

Butner with the quickest pass of the session, but he will not improve. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.978 sec., 330ft-2.766, 660ft-4.267/163.77 mph, 1,000ft-5.562.

Left Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.694/206.04, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.691/206.07, Was #14
Right Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 6.659/205.76, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.649/205.94, Was #9

Delco with a few ticks off his qualifying time. Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-1.004 sec., 330ft-2.806, 660ft-4.308/163.73 mph, 1,000ft-5.603.

No help here for McGaha and he stays in the number ten spot. Mason McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.771, 660ft-4.272/164.03 mph, 1,000ft-5.567.

Left Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.646/206.45, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.656/206.61, Was #12
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.659/205.38, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.647/205.38, Was #7

Stanfield is straight down the groove to make the quickest pass of the round. He goes into the top half of the show. Aaron Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.979 sec., 330ft-2.765, 660ft-4.264/164.33 mph, 1,000ft-5.556.

Coughlin with a clean pass, but he will not improve.

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.652/205.35, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.653/207.08, Was #12
Right Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.646/205.85, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.642/205.76, Was #5

Enders makes her quickest pass, but will not move up the ladder and will start race day from the number 12 spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.977 sec., 330ft-2.766, 660ft-4.265/163.95 mph, 1,000ft-5.560.

Laughlin with another good pass, just a few ticks off his qualifying time. Alex Laughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.972 sec., 330ft-2.759, 660ft-4.259/163.95 mph, 1,000ft-5.554.

Left Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.645/205.76, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.648/206.07, Was #9
Right Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.710/204.91, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.641/206.35, Was #4

Kramer is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend and the quickest pass of the session. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.974 sec., 330ft-2.763, 660ft-4.260/163.97 mph, 1,000ft-5.555.

No help for McGaha.

Hartford with his quickest pass of the weekend and he moves up the ladder one spot. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.778, 660ft-4.261/163.93 mph, 1,000ft-5.554. He makes the third quickest pass of the session.

Koretsky launched hard and kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend and the quickest pass of the session. Kyle Koretsky's incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.760, 660ft-4.256/164.49 mph, 1,000ft-5.548.

Left Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.646/206.20, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.635/206.39, Was #2
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.631/206.54, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.601/206.73, Was #1

Line will not improve, but will hold on to the number two spot. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.769, 660ft-4.266/164.05 mph, 1,000ft-5.558.

Anderson is straight down the groove with the quickest pass of the session. He will start Sunday from the number one spot for the second time this year and 106th time in his career. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.978 sec., 330ft-2.762, 660ft-4.255/164.63 mph, 1,000ft-5.544.
