BAYTOWN, Texas - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 33rd annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals presented by Pennzoil:

Meyer is a no-show. She flew home as she is getting married this weekend.

Shields is straight down the groove good looking pass.

Stevens with the starting line advantage and the lead until right in the lights when Cummings chased him down for the win. Matthew Cummings' MOV: 0.0142 seconds (approximately 6 feet).

Cummings with his quickest pass this weekend and his career fastest pass for the win. He will have lane choice over Shields in the next round.

Stevens with his quickest pass this season in the losing effort.

Domingue with a couple ticks on the tree, but Cowie has the difference made up by the time they go by the Christmas tree. He runs low E.T. of the event for the win and lane choice over Cooper in the next round.

Domingue is out of the groove and over by the wall, he tags the wall.
