BAYTOWN, Texas - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 33rd annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Bruno Massel Runs 6.578/209.72, Now #1

Massel is s straight down the groove with his quickest and fastest pass of the season. Bruno Massel's incremental times: 60ft-0.977 sec., 330ft-2.744, 660ft-4.224/166.50 mph, 1,000ft-5.503.

Left Lane: Fernando Cuadra No Time, Now #3
Right Lane: Alan Prusiensky No Time, Now #2

Cuadra's car went silent when the car was backing up from the burnout.

Prusiensky's car will not fire.

Left Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 11.561/78.57, Now #2
Right Lane: Cristian Cuadra No Time, Now #3

McGaha with severe tire shake right at the hit and pushed in the clutch.

Cuadra with problems on the burnout and then with more problems right at the hit and came to a stop by 100 feet.

Left Lane: Troy Coughlin Jr. Runs 6.563/210.50, Now #1
Right Lane: Val Smeland Runs 6.649/208.81, Now #3

Coughlin Jr. is straight down the groove with a clean pass. Troy Coughlin Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.744, 660ft-4.218/167.32 mph, 1,000ft-5.491.

Left Lane: Kyle Koretsky Runs 11.449/57.29, Now #5
Right Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.558/210.50, Now #1

Koretsky shook and clicked it off.

Delco is straight down the groove with a clean pass. Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.743, 660ft-4.216/167.51 mph, 1,000ft-5.488.

Left Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.540/211.23, Now #2
Right Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.520/211.30, Now #1

This was a good side-by-side drag race...

Butner is straight down the groove to the number two spot. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.734, 660ft-4.202/167.76 mph, 1,000ft-5.472.

Stanfield with problems getting the car to fire, it finally does start. He launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Aaron Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.978 sec., 330ft-2.726, 660ft-4.189/168.56 mph, 1,000ft-5.455.

Left Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.527/210.70, Now #2
Right Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.549/211.26, Now #4

Kramer is straight down the groove with a good pass to go to the number two spot. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.971 sec., 330ft-2.730, 660ft-4.201/164.81 mph, 1,000ft-5.462.

McGaha with a clean pass to start the weekend. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.743, 660ft-4.212/167.86 mph, 1,000ft-5.481.

Left Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.506/210.73, Now #1
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.517/212.23, Now #2

This is a great side-by-side drag race.

Laughlin launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Alex Laughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.963 sec., 330ft-2.713, 660ft-4.175/168.49 mph, 1,000ft-5.440.

Anderson was right there with him to go to the number two spot. He sets top speed of the round. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.978 sec., 330ft-2.731, 660ft-4.191/168.96 mph, 1,000ft-5.454.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.567/210.21, Now #10
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.542/210.47, Now #6

Hartford coming off his win from last weekend and he makes a clean pass.

Coughlin is straight down the groove to the number six spot.

Left Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.532/211.79, Now #6
Right Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.517/211.36, Now #3

Line with a clean pass to start the weekend.

Enders is straight down the groove to the number three spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.719, 660ft-4.183/168.26 mph, 1,000ft-5.451.
