Pro Stock Motorcycle Qualifying Notes, Final Session

ENNIS, Texas - Notes from final, round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 35th annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Kelly Clontz Runs 6.949/192.58, Now #10; No Prior Run

Clontz is straight down the groove with a nice pass to get in the show.

Left Lane: Chris Bostick Runs 7.008/190.16, Now #15; Best prior run: 9.063/103.26, Was #18
Right Lane: Marc Ingwersen Runs 6.969/193.10, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.012/190.08, Was #14

Bostick is straight down the groove with a nice pass to get in the show.

Ingwersen is straight down the groove to move up the ladder a couple spots.

Left Lane: Hector Arana Runs 6.994/191.62, Now #15; Best prior run: 7.386/196.76, Was #18
Right Lane: Angelle Sampey Runs 6.847/199.05, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.986/175.59, Was #14

Arana gets in the show at the number 15 spot.

Sampey launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number four spot. Angelle Sampey's incremental times: 60ft-1.079 sec., 330ft-2.887, 660ft-4.397/162.31 mph, 1,000ft-5.719.

Left Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 6.870/197.08, Now #6; Best prior run: 7.056/199.67, Was #17
Right Lane: Cory Reed Runs 6.920/195.36, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.924/194.04, Was #10

Krawiec is straight down the grove from outside the show into the number six spot. Eddie Krawiec's incremental times: 60ft-1.080 sec., 330ft-2.889, 660ft-4.405/161.59 mph, 1,000ft-5.734.

Reed with his quickest pass, but gets bumped back a spot by Krawiec.

Left Lane: John Hall Runs 7.020/192.49, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.974/193.38, Was #15
Right Lane: Hector Arana Jr Runs 6.962/196.93, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.901/196.30, Was #8

No help here for Hall, he will stay in the number 15 spot.

Arana Jr. will not improve and will stay in the number eight spot.

Left Lane: Joey Gladstone No Time, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.895/195.17, Was #7
Right Lane: Ryan Oehler Runs 6.931/196.22, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.854/197.77, Was #5

Gladstone is a no-show...

Smith with problems right at the hit and clicked it off.

Savoie with the second quickest pass of the session, he will not improve. Jerry Savoie's incremental times: 60ft-1.046 sec., 330ft-2.836, 660ft-4.366/159.63 mph, 1,000ft-5.713.

Left Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 6.949/197.51, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.958/199.37, Was #13
Right Lane: Scotty Pollacheck Runs 6.864/197.05, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.903/199.05, Was #9

Hines with his quickest pass to move up the ladder one spot.

Pollacheck is straight down the groove to move into the top half of the show. Scotty Pollacheck's incremental times: 60ft-1.070 sec., 330ft-2.875, 660ft-4.393/161.05 mph, 1,000ft-5.724.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 6.922/192.93, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.910/191.87, Was #10
Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.857/200.50, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.808/200.71, Was #1

No help here for Johnson.

Smith with the stright down the groove with the second quickest pass of the session. Matt Smith's incremental times: 60ft-1.097 sec., 330ft-2.917, 660ft-4.428/162.86 mph, 1,000ft-5.739.
