Top Fuel Harley Qualifying Notes, Session #1

ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Fuel Harley at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 35th annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Bill Jackson Runs 29.958/25.62, Now #1

Jackson doesn't move when he hits the throttle and it has a lot flames coming out of the headers. He just coast on down the track.

Left Lane: Chris Smith Runs 6.354/222.22, Now #1
Right Lane: Ryan Peery Runs 7.285/145.39, Now #2

Smith is straight down the groove with a nice looking pass.

Peery clicks it off early.

Left Lane: Rickey House Runs 6.525/213.87, Now #3
Right Lane: Tii Tharpe Runs 6.378/220.76, Now #2

House with a clean pass.

Tharpe is straight down the groove with a nice pass.

Left Lane: Jay Turner Runs 6.313/219.76, Now #2
Right Lane: Randal Andras Runs 6.201/225.86, Now #1

This is a great drag race to wrap up qualifying.

Turner is straight down the groove to slide into the number two spot.

Andras launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot.

Andras will clinch the Top Fuel Harley championship this weekend.
