EPPING, N.H. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northeast Division, event at New England Dragway:

Fricke with the starting line advantage and never trailed as Fox Jr. started dropping cylinders. Fricke just a tick off her qualifying time for the win.

They both have great light and they are both up in smoke right at the hit. Mercier gets it to recover quicker and the win. Mercier will give up lane choice to Fricke in the semifinal.

McPhillips rolls in deep, they are both off the starting line clean and then they both start to lose traction and Shields gets it to recover quicker. Shields takes the win.
