EPPING, N.H. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northeast Division, event at New England Dragway listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Tom Fox Jr. Runs 5.345/271.62, Now #3; Best prior run: 5.517/213.91, Was #3
Right Lane: Rich McPhillips Runs 5.238/276.35, Now #1; Best prior run: 9.038/71.87, Was #4

This was a good side-by-side drag race.

Fox Jr. is straight down the groove. Tom Fox Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.959 sec., 330ft-2.421, 660ft-3.550/004.52 mph, 1,000ft-4.518.

McPhillips launched hard and kept it hooked up. Rich McPhillips' incremental times: 60ft-0.957 sec., 330ft-2.420, 660ft-3.508/230.17 mph, 1,000ft-4.435.
