EPPING, N.H. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northeast Division, event at New England Dragway listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Dan Mercier Runs 5.498/270.43, Now #1
Right Lane: Jackie Fricke Runs 11.332/85.90, Now #2

Mercier is straight down the groove with a nice pass to open the weekend.

Fricke with problems early and clicks it off.

Left Lane: Rich McPhillips Runs 9.038/71.87, Now #3
Right Lane: Tom Fox Jr. Runs 5.517/213.91, Now #2

McPhillips lost traction early and clicked it off.

Fox Jr. with a clean pass.

Left Lane: Josh Hart Runs 5.259/271.08, Now #1
Right Lane: Dan Page Runs 13.734/68.66, Now #6

Hart launched hard and kept it hooked up to make a good looking pass. Josh Hart's incremental times: 60ft-0.939 sec., 330ft-2.407, 660ft-3.513/226.81 mph, 1,000ft-4.446.

Page was up in smoke and clicked it off.
