Turner Wins Mickey Thompson Top Fuel Harley Series Trophy

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Jay Turner won the second of 10 events in the NHRA Mickey Thompson Top
Fuel Harley Series at the NHRA Arizona Nationals.
In round one Turner set the track E.T. and the National speed record with a pass of 6.193 seconds
at 237.75 mph defeating Tii Tharpe. Turner defeated red hot Randal Andras in the semifinal setting
up a final round match-up with number one qualifier Rickey House. Turner got the win when House
turned on the red light in the final.
Jay Turner, Harley, 9.054 seconds, 99.99 mph defeated Rickey House,
Harley, Foul - Red Light.
