CHANDLER, Ariz. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Top Fuel Harley at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 36th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Mike Scott Runs 9.556/142.63, Now #7; Best prior run: 10.974/78.09, Was #7
Right Lane: Rich Vreeland No Time, Now #8; Best prior run: 11.349/94.01, Was #8

5:50 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 46 percent, barometer 28.71 inches, adjusted altitude 2,917 feet, track temperature 76 degrees.

Randal Andras is number one 6.297 and Rich Vreeland is on the bump spot at 11.349.

Vreeland's bike make ugly sounds in the burnout and he gets pushed away.

Scott's bike drops a cylinder at the hit and grumbles down the track. He will stay #7 for now.

Right Lane: Tracy Kile Runs 6.957/202.91, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.620/212.19, Was #3

Much better this time.

They run together to the finish line and Turner gets the better or it to move up four spots to number two.

Kile was just a tad slower and loses a spot to number four.

Jay Turner's incremental times: 60ft-1.103 sec., 330ft-2.842, 660ft-4.189/186.10 mph, 1,000ft-5.334.
Tracy Kile's incremental times: 60ft-1.228 sec., 330ft-3.094, 660ft-4.585/165.46 mph, 1,000ft-5.870.

Right Lane: Rickey House Runs 6.285/222.62, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.320/222.62, Was #3

Andras looked to be on another strong pass, but was coasting after the 330 lights.

House runs strong and clean to move up to the final top spot.

Rickey House's incremental times: 60ft-1.099 sec., 330ft-2.814, 660ft-4.140/187.21 mph, 1,000ft-5.285.

5:57 p.m. Rich Vreeland is on the bump spot at 11.349.
