POMONA, Calif. - For the third straight time, Doug Kalitta took home a national event win at the 60th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com. Sunday's win marks Kalitta's 48th career win, placing him fifth in wins on the all-time Top Fuel list.

Jack Beckman (Funny Car) and Jeg Coughlin (Pro Stock) also took home event wins in their respective categories, marking the first time in NHRA history that the winners from the Auto Club Finals also took home wins at the Winternationals.

Doug Kalitta, 3.698 seconds, 330.23 mph defeated Austin Prock, 10.939 seconds, 80.31 mph.

Top Fuel veteran Doug Kalitta won his fourth Wally at the Winternationals and third consecutive when he beat Austin Prock in the final round.

Jack Beckman, Dodge Charger, 3.837 seconds, 333.33 mph defeated John Force, Chevy Camaro, 3.897 seconds, 332.34 mph.

Funny Car driver Jack Beckman raced to his first victory at the season opening Winternationals.

Jeg Coughlin, Chevy Camaro, 6.522 seconds, 210.80 mph defeated Jason Line, Camaro, 6.565 seconds, 209.56 mph.

Five-time Pro Stock world champion Jeg Coughlin kicked off 2020 with a high note by going No. 1 in qualifying and picking up the event win.

Sunday Explosions

Cameron Ferre had an explosion in round one in his matchup with Austin Prock.

Paul Lee had an explosion in round one against Alexia DeJoria.

Ron Capps suffered an explosion against teammate Jack Beckman in round two.
