POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 60th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com:

Prock with a bye here and he launched hard and kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend.

Millican is 8 - 7 against Force in prior events.

Millican with the starting line advantage, but Force had the lead by the time they went by the Christmas tree. She never trailed from there on for the win. She has big top end speed, the third fastest pass in Top Fuel. She sets the track speed record.

Millican with a good clean pass in the losing effort.

Kalitta is 1 - 0 against Ashley in prior events.

A couple great lights with Kalitta getting the slight advantage. Kalitta never trailed for the win. He runs his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. He will give up lane choice to Force in the semifinal.

Ashley started to haze the tires and clicked it off.,

Reed with the starting line advantage, but was dropping cylinders right at the hit and then just before half track it bang the blower with a quick fireball.

Pruett is straight down the groove with a good looking pass for win. She will give up lane choice to Prock in the semifinal by 0.007 seconds.
