GLENDORA, Calif. - Tickets are now on sale for the 40th annual NHRA Southern Nationals. This fan-favorite event marks the seventh stop on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series tour and is sure to showcases drag racing at its finest.

The series rolls into Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA May 15-17, 2020 for the NHRA Southern Nationals and promises to deliver all the intense racing action fans in the region have come to expect from the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.

Steve Torrence (Top Fuel), Ron Capps (Funny Car) and Andrew Hines (Pro Stock Motorcycle) raced to titles at this event in 2019.

Along with 11,000 horsepower nitro cars coursing through the track and the ever-thrilling Pro Stock Motorcycle division, the super sophisticated Pro Stock class makes its return to Atlanta Dragway. Fans can meet their favorite Pro Stock drivers including Erica Enders, Greg Anderson and Jason Line.

The ultra-competitive Factory Stock Showdown class will make its debut at Atlanta Dragway. Competitors will line up against each other, for a head-to-head battle of their factory-built vehicles.

NHRA fans can take part in the Mello Yello Walking Tour to see the cars and teams hard at work in the pits. Fans can also attend Pro Stock School and Nitro School to learn how the cars operate and reach their thrilling speeds. Atlanta Dragway will also host a Mello Yello autograph session and allow fans to meet their favorite drivers as well as the Cruising with Castello Sealmaster Track Walk hosted by NHRA announcer Joe Castello. Another can't-miss experience is the winner's circle celebration on Sunday after racing concludes. NHRA fans are invited to congratulate the winners of the event as they celebrate their victories.
