MADISON, Ill. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, eighth annual AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Lex Joon Runs 4.143/212.16, Now #18; Best prior run: 4.169/208.04, Was #18

Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 66 percent, barometer 29.52 inches, adjusted altitude 2,871 feet, track temperature 94 degrees.

Joon makes his quickest and fastest pass of the weekend, but will not get in the show.

Left Lane: Luigi Novelli Runs 5.732/117.50, Now #17; Best prior run: 3.978/293.98, Was #17

Novelli is dropping cylinders right at the hit and clicks it off around 300 feet and he will not get in the show.

Left Lane: Kyle Wurtzel Runs 3.895/296.96, Now #15; Best prior run: 3.877/309.42, Was #15

Wurtzel has a fuel line come loose and there was a mist of fuel all the way down the track. It dropped a cylinder in the lights. He makes a clean pass, but will not improve.

Right Lane: T.J. Zizzo Runs 3.791/323.43, Now #13; Best prior run: 3.805/324.28, Was #13

Crampton launched hard and kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend to move into the top half of the show. Richie Crampton's incremental times: 60ft-0.831 sec., 330ft-2.108, 660ft-2.976/288.09 mph.

Zizzo was straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend. He will stay in the number 13 spot. T.J. Zizzo's incremental times: 60ft-0.849 sec., 330ft-2.152, 660ft-3.046/284.15 mph.

McMillen kept the candles lit all the way down the track to make his quickest pass of the weekend to move into the top half of the show. Terry McMillen's incremental times: 60ft-0.839 sec., 330ft-2.118, 660ft-2.994/289.94 mph.

Brown kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend to move up the ladder one spot. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.836 sec., 330ft-2.135, 660ft-3.011/289.45 mph.

Force launched hard and was straight down the groove with her quickest pass of the weekend to move up to the number four spot. Brittany Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.839 sec., 330ft-2.115, 660ft-2.983/293.47 mph.

Salinas launched hard and had the header flames shooting high over the rear wing all the way down the track to go to the number one spot. Mike Salinas' incremental times: 60ft-0.831 sec., 330ft-2.097, 660ft-2.960/292.96 mph.

This is a great side-by-side drag race to wrap up Top Fuel qualifying.

Prock is straight down the groove with the fifth quickest pass of the session. He will not improve and will start from the number three spot. This will tie his highest qualifying position from Topeka. Austin Prock's incremental times: 60ft-0.831 sec., 330ft-2.108, 660ft-2.983/285.83 mph.

Torrence with another great pass, his second quickest pass of the weekend and he will start from the number two spot. Billy Torrence's incremental times: 60ft-0.838 sec., 330ft-2.109, 660ft-2.982/290.32 mph.
