MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 35th annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Beckman is 6 - 5 against Todd in prior events.

Todd and Beckman came off the starting line close together but Todd's car started smoking the rear tires right away. He tried to pedal it and get the tires hooked up again but was not able. Beckman took his car down the groove for the win. This will be Beckman's fifth final round this season and the 61st final round of his career.

Capps took the early lead and was out front at 330 feet. Then his car lost traction and started smoking the rear tires. Force had a clean run going and drove past Capps to take the win. This will be the fourth final of the season for Force and the 255th final round of his career. Force gave up lane choice to Beckman in the final round.
