a High Note MOHNTON, Pa. -- Ron Capps powered to the top of the Funny Car category on Friday when he set both ends of the Maple Grove Raceway track record during the 35th annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil.

Brittany Force (Top Fuel), Erica Enders (Pro Stock) and Angelle Sampey (Pro Stock Motorcycle) are also provisional No. 1 qualifiers in their respective categories at the 19th event of the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season.

Funny Car provisional No. 1 qualifier Ron Capps drove his NAPA Filters Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat to a 3.837 second pass at 339.28 mph.

Funny Car's Ron Capps reset both the speed and elapsed time records at Maple Grove Raceway on Friday evening to earn the provisional No. 1 qualifier. He raced to the second-fastest speed in NHRA history.

Top Fuel provisional No. 1 qualifier Brittany Force drove her Advance Auto Parts dragster to a 3.651 second pass at 332.92 mph.

Top Fuel standout Brittany Force rocketed to the provisional No. 1 spot on Friday night with a track-record-breaking E.T.

Pro Stock provisional No. 1 qualifier Erica Enders drove her Elite Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro to a 6.480 second pass at 211.96 mph.

Pro Stock star Erica Enders landed in the provisional No. 1 Qualifier position on Friday in a stellar showing.

Pro Stock Motorcycle provisional No. 1 qualifier Angelle Sampey rode her Screamin' Eagle Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson FXDR to a 6.761 second pass at 197.51 mph.

Pro Stock Motorcyclist Angelle Sampey topped an impressive field on Friday evening stating that the other female qualifying leaders were her inspiration.
