This was a good looking side-by-side drag race in the heat.

Line will not improve, but has the third quickest pass of the session. He will hold on to the number one spot for the first time this year and the 54th time in his career.

Kramer will not improve, but makes another good pass, the fourth quickest in the session. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.994 sec., 330ft-2.775, 660ft-4.252/166.54 mph, 1,000ft-5.527.
