DINWIDDIE, Va. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Second annual Virginia NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 13.632/80.99, Now #16; Best prior run: 13.748/87.09, Was #16

Weather conditions: air temperature 87 degrees, relative humidity 46 percent, barometer 29.76 inches, adjusted altitude 2,792 feet, track temperature 121 degrees.

Prusiensky with severe tire shake and clicks it off.

Left Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 9.548/116.96, Now #15; Best prior run: 12.449/75.54, Was #15
Right Lane: Val Smeland Runs 11.421/157.39, Now #16; Best prior run: 14.907/56.66, Was #17

Delco shook and mad a move toward the wall and clicked it off.

Smeland with severe tire shake right at the hit and clicked it off.

Right Lane: Wally Stroupe Runs 6.763/204.08, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.780/203.58, Was #13

Cuadra Jr. with his quickest pass of the weekend, but will stay in the number 14 spot. Fernando Cuadra Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-1.022 sec., 330ft-2.860, 660ft-4.397/164.59 mph, 1,000ft-5.730.

Stroupe is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend, but he will stay in the number 13 spot. Wally Stroupe's incremental times: 60ft-1.019 sec., 330ft-2.841, 660ft-4.355/162.51 mph, 1,000ft-5.662.

Left Lane: Shane Tucker Runs 6.649/207.34, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.655/206.35, Was #12
Right Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 9.162/102.09, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.610/208.30, Was #10

Tucker with his quickest pass of the weekend, but will stay in number 12 spot. Shane Tucker's incremental times: 60ft-0.989 sec., 330ft-2.776, 660ft-4.270/165.11 mph, 1,000ft-5.561.

McGah with tire shake and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 12.838/67.95, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.613/209.26, Was #11
Right Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.583/209.20, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.609/208.46, Was #9

Brogdon made a quick move toward the centerline and clicked it off.

Laughlin launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number four spot. Alex Laughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.988 sec., 330ft-2.757, 660ft-4.233/166.56 mph, 1,000ft-5.509.

Enders kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove to go to the number two spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.988 sec., 330ft-2.762, 660ft-4.230/167.14 mph, 1,000ft-5.501.

Cuadra is straight down the groove with his quickest pass, but will stay in the number nine spot. Fernando Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.769, 660ft-4.250/166.56 mph, 1,000ft-5.527.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.578/209.30, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.588/209.10, Was #7
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.578/208.30, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.596/209.17, Was #8

Hartford and Coughlin are straight down the groove with identical E.T.s and Hartford get the position based on his faster speed. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.756, 660ft-4.233/174.28 mph, 1,000ft-5.506.

Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.748, 660ft-4.226/166.48 mph, 1,000ft-5.502.

Left Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.569/210.37, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.584/210.01, Was #8
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.584/209.98, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.578/209.56, Was #3

Kramer launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number two spot. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.750, 660ft-4.223/166.81 mph, 1,000ft-5.497.

Anderson with another good pass, but will not improve. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.989 sec., 330ft-2.765, 660ft-4.240/167.07 mph, 1,000ft-5.514.

Left Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.573/210.54, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.580/210.01, Was #7
Right Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.570/210.47, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.563/210.11, Was #1

Butner is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend and goes to the number three spot. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.768, 660ft-4.230/174.21 mph, 1,000ft-5.506.

Line with another great pass, but will not improve. He will hold on to the number one spot. He has the second quickest pass of the session. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.752, 660ft-4.227/166.72 mph, 1,000ft-5.500.
