DINWIDDIE, Va. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Second annual Virginia NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 12.449/75.54, Now #12; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 90 degrees, relative humidity 42 percent, barometer 29.56 inches, adjusted altitude 3,200 feet, track temperature 123 degrees.

Delco with severe tire shake and made a quick toward the centerline before he clicked it off.

Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 13.748/87.09, Now #14; Best prior run: 21.965/35.07, Was #16
Right Lane: Wally Stroupe Runs 6.780/203.58, Now #11; Best prior run: 25.998/27.97, Was #17

Prusiensky shook and shut it off. He still improve and moved up the ladder a couple spots.

Stroupe is straight down the groove to get in the show up to the number 11 spot. Wally Stroupe's incremental times: 60ft-1.018 sec., 330ft-2.841, 660ft-4.361/161.87 mph, 1,000ft-5.674.

Left Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.584/210.01, Now #3; Best prior run: 20.296/38.99, Was #17
Right Lane: Val Smeland No Time, Now #16; Best prior run: 14.907/56.66, Was #15

Kramer launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number three spot. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.756, 660ft-4.234/166.44 mph, 1,000ft-5.510.

Smeland could not get the car to fire and is pushed off the starting line.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.588/209.10, Now #4; Best prior run: 19.097/66.82, Was #17
Right Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.609/208.46, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.619/208.71, Was #10

Hartford is straight down the groove into the top half of the show from outside the show. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.760, 660ft-4.238/173.92 mph, 1,000ft-5.514.

Laughlin with his quickest pass and moves into the top half of the show. Alex Laughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.759, 660ft-4.246/165.52 mph, 1,000ft-5.529.

Left Lane: Fernando Cuadra Jr. Runs 6.854/200.47, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.930/198.26, Was #14
Right Lane: Fernando Cuadra Runs 6.604/209.46, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.614/209.65, Was #11

Cuadra Jr. improves, but will stay in the number 14 spot. Fernando Cuadra Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-1.023 sec., 330ft-2.862, 660ft-4.403/164.41 mph, 1,000ft-5.737.

Cuadra is straight down the groove to move into the top half of the show. Fernando Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.766, 660ft-4.249/166.35 mph, 1,000ft-5.529.

Left Lane: Shane Tucker Runs 6.655/206.35, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.715/206.16, Was #12
Right Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.618/208.36, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.610/208.30, Was #10

Tucker is straight down the groove with his quickest pass, but will stay in the number 12 spot. Shane Tucker's incremental times: 60ft-0.991 sec., 330ft-2.775, 660ft-4.270/164.73 mph, 1,000ft-5.564.

McGaha slows from his pass earlier today and will stay in the number 10 spot. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.766, 660ft-4.261/161.61 mph, 1,000ft-5.537.

Left Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.616/208.97, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.613/209.26, Was #11
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.596/209.17, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.596/208.26, Was #7

Brogdon with another good pass, but will not improve and stays in the number 11 spot. Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.771, 660ft-4.257/165.72 mph, 1,000ft-5.538.

Coughlin matches his E.T. from earlier today and stays in the number seven spot. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.985 sec., 330ft-2.758, 660ft-4.239/166.19 mph, 1,000ft-5.519.

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.606/207.53, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.595/209.30, Was #6
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.578/209.56, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.593/209.30, Was #5

Enders slows from earlier today and will stay in the number six spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.749, 660ft-4.236/165.23 mph, 1,000ft-5.522.

anderson launched hard and kept it hooked up, but comes up a little short of the number one spot. He moves up to the number two spot...Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.752, 660ft-4.229/166.95 mph, 1,000ft-5.505.

Left Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.580/210.01, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.580/209.98, Was #3
Right Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.563/210.11, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.576/210.11, Was #1

Butner is straight down the groove and matches his E.T. from earlier today. He will stay in the number three spot. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.979 sec., 330ft-2.758, 660ft-4.232/173.83 mph, 1,000ft-5.508.

Line launched hard and kept it hooked up to improve on his number one qualifying time. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.972 sec., 330ft-2.739, 660ft-4.216/166.70 mph, 1,000ft-5.490.
