Left Lane: Ed Sigmon Runs 8.826/115.36/-0.204, Now #10; C/SR Index: 9.03, Prior Best: 9.127/118.06/0.097, Was #10
Right Lane: Scott McClay Runs 7.216/181.89/-0.654, Now #2; C/ED Index: 7.87, Prior Best: 7.203/182.03/-0.667, Was #2

2:53 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 67 degrees, relative humidity 23 percent, barometer 29.04 inches, adjusted altitude 1,851 feet, track temperature 81 degrees.

Tom Mettler is number one at -0.677 under and Field not filled, no bump spot.

Straight and clean for McClay this time and he runs close to his Q1's best.

Much better for Sigmon too and he picks up a lot of numbers, but stays #10.

Two strong leaves and Wilson picks up numbers, but stays #4.

Mettler was off the throttle and coasting down track.

Federkeil's Avenger makes a hard move off the line towards the centerline, but he stays with it this time and picks up two spots to number seven.

Lambeck finds a little speed, but loses a little ET to stay #5.

Two strong passes. Warter stays #3 and Van Paepeghem picks up a spot.

Carter keeps the FED straight off the line this time and makes a big move up the ladder to the new #5 spot.

Lee gets a full pass too and picks up two spots to #6.

Once again, Freese' Firebird sits in the lights at the green. The system doesn't time out this time and he slowly drives down the track. He gets into the field on the bottom of the ladder.

Granier makes a much better pass this time and moves a spot up the ladder to #9.

3:13 p.m. Tom Mettler stays number one at -0.677 and Field not filled, no bump spot.
