Travis Salter gets away first and takes a decisive win. MOV: Double breakout.

9:13 a.m. Bower's Camaro may have lost the engine after the lights, as there is a wall of smoke. The car hit the wall hard several times and continued on down to the sand trap at the end of the track and into the net. It's reported that he contacted Salter's car too. He is out of the car and conscious. He will be transported to a local medical facility for evaluation. No details on Salter's car damage, if any.
