This is the first time Nataas and Fricke have faced each other in eliminations.

Fricke gets out of the gate first, extends her lead through half track, then her engine has problems and Nataas goes around for the win.

Julie Nataas' incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.047), 330 ft(-0.088), 660ft(-0.103), 1,000ft(-0.029). MOV: 0.1848 seconds (approximately 55 feet).

Severance and Shields have each won 7 times against the other in prior events.

Shields leaves too soon and goes red and then puts out a cylinder. Severance goes right down the groove with another good pass to take the win.

Severance will have lane choice over Nataas in the next round.
