Left Lane: Terry Totten Runs 4.788/155.31, Now #17; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Shawn Reed Runs 3.876/295.34, Now #13; Best prior run: 4.219/207.40, Was #14

Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 23 percent, barometer 27.94 inches, adjusted altitude 4,147 feet, track temperature 106 degrees.

Totten pitched the blower belt off and he coasted on down the track.

Reed was on a good pass until it slowed on the top end, but gets in the show. Shawn Reed's incremental times: 60ft-0.865 sec., 330ft-2.198, 660ft-3.104/282.07 mph.

Left Lane: Greg Carrillo Runs 4.136/246.48, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.878/83.75, Was #18

Carrillo was on a good pass, but started to drift out of the groove and over by the wall before he clicked it off. He gets into the show. Greg Carrillo's incremental times: 60ft-0.898 sec., 330ft-2.289, 660ft-3.250/266.27 mph.

Right Lane: Troy Buff Runs 5.108/134.69, Now #11; Best prior run: 3.804/308.57, Was #10

McMillen was straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to get into the top half of the show. Terry McMillen's incremental times: 60ft-0.858 sec., 330ft-2.162, 660ft-3.047/287.05 mph.

Buff started to haze the tires and clicked it off.

Salinas has a hole out early, but he stay with it to get in the show. Mike Salinas' incremental times: 60ft-0.843 sec., 330ft-2.160, 660ft-3.072/278.63 mph.

Alexander launched hard and kept it hooked up to move up the ladder one spot. Blake Alexander's incremental times: 60ft-0.848 sec., 330ft-2.165, 660ft-3.056/284.03 mph.

Right Lane: Scott Palmer Runs 3.768/326.48, Now #5; Best prior run: 3.814/326.63, Was #13

Crampton started to haze the tires around 330 feet and clicked it off.

Palmer with a great pass until right in the lights when the car lost mud flap on the driver side of the car. He still goes into the top half of the show. Scott Palmer's incremental times: 60ft-0.846 sec., 330ft-2.149, 660ft-3.031/288.58 mph.

Right Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 3.742/326.00, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.790/321.50, Was #9

Torrence was on a great pass until just past half track when it went up in smoke.

Kalitta kept it hitting on all eight and hooked up to go to the number three spot. Doug Kalitta's incremental times: 60ft-0.846 sec., 330ft-2.140, 660ft-3.008/291.07 mph.

Schumacher dropped a cylinder early, but stayed with it.

Pritchett launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number four spot. Leah Pritchett's incremental times: 60ft-0.849 sec., 330ft-2.142, 660ft-3.011/290.88 mph.

This was a great side-by-side drag race.

Brown was right down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to go to the number four spot. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.852 sec., 330ft-2.133, 660ft-3.005/290.51 mph.

Force with a great pass, straight down the groove to go to the number two spot. Brittany Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.837 sec., 330ft-2.127, 660ft-2.995/291.45 mph.

Right Lane: Clay Millican Runs 3.754/327.74, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.699/327.82, Was #1

Torrence launched hard and kept it hitting on all eight to go back to the number two spot. Steve Torrence's incremental times: 60ft-0.829 sec., 330ft-2.112, 660ft-2.976/293.35 mph. he has the quickest pass of the session.

Millican with another good pass, but will not improve. He holds on to the number one spot. Clay Millican's incremental times: 60ft-0.850 sec., 330ft-2.149, 660ft-3.023/290.07 mph.
