Johnson gets a little advantage off the line, Pedregon makes a clean pass trying to keep pace, but Johnson pulls away and takes the win.

Beckman and Todd have each won 3 times against the other in prior events.

Beckman is a little behind off the line but goes in front by the time they reach the sixty foot mark. He gets about 500 feet out, loses a cylinder on the left side and starts getting pushed toward the centerline. He gets about 600 feet out and has to back off the throttle. Todd is able to get around him at that point and pull away for the win.

J.R. Todd's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.009), 330 ft(-0.030), 660ft(-0.016). MOV: 0.0786 seconds (approximately 30 feet).

Johnson will have lane choice over Todd in the next round.

Not much difference off the line, Hight is able to pull away and take the stripe for the win.

Tasca III is 13 - 11 against Force in prior events.

Tasca gets a great light and starts to pull away. Force is able to start making up ground past the 660 foot mark but runs out of room. Tasca hangs on and takes the holeshot win.

Bob Tasca III's incremental margins: 60ft(0.021), 330 ft(0.027), 660ft(0.030). MOV: 0.0118 seconds (approximately 6 feet).

Hight will have lane choice over Tasca in the next round.
