Torrence with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win.

Alexander started to haze the tires around half track before he clicked it off.

Force with a slight starting line advantage and the lead until she started to haze the tires around 400 feet and McMillen drove around her. He never trailed from there on for the win.

Brown is 37 - 31 against Schumacher in prior events.

Brown with the starting line advantage, but Schumacher was able to chase him down by 200 feet and never trailed from there on for the win. He will give up lane choice to Torrence in the semifinal.

Brown lost traction around the 330-foot mark.

Pritchett is 10 - 6 against Millican in prior events.

They have identical reaction times, but it is all Millican after that as he runs low E.T. of the round. He will have lane choice over McMillen in the semifinal.

Pritchett dropped a hole right at the hit and never got it to clean up.
