Massey gets out of the gate first and goes right down the groove with a good pass to take the win.

Brounkowski gets the advantage off the line but has a cylinder out at the hit. Cowie goes around him before they reach the sixty foot mark. Brounkowski picks up the cylinder about 400 feet out, then loses it again about 700 feet out. Cowie goes right down the groove with the quickest pass of the round to take the win.

Cowie will have lane choice over Massey in the next round.
