ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 33rd annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Robert River No Time, Now #2
Right Lane: Shane Tucker Runs 7.086/179.59, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 89 degrees, relative humidity 54 percent, barometer 29.35 inches, adjusted altitude 3,580 feet, track temperature 126 degrees.

River with severe tire shake right at the hit and clicked it off. He came to a stop on the track.
