ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Modified at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 33rd annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Jader Krolow Runs 5.881/250.78, Now #2
Right Lane: Justin Bond Runs 5.837/255.24, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 66 percent, barometer 29.43 inches, adjusted altitude 3,160 feet, track temperature 111 degrees.
Krolow and Bond are making their NHRA Pro Mod debuts.

This was a great side-by-side drag race for these two...

Krolow is straight down the groove...Jader Krolow's incremental times: 60ft-1.015 sec., 330ft-2.663, 660ft-3.920/197.88 mph, 1,000ft-4.986.

Bond launched hard and kept it hooked up...Justin Bond's incremental times: 60ft-1.016 sec., 330ft-2.657, 660ft-3.900/200.41 mph, 1,000ft-4.953.

Right Lane: Brandon Pesz Runs 7.444/139.50, Now #3

Oksas is also making his NHRA Pro Mod debut...he launched and make a quick move toward the centerline before he clicked it off.

Enders was a little loose around half track, but stayed with it.

Matusek is straight down the groove to the number four spot. Steve Matusek's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.622, 660ft-3.903/195.56 mph, 1,000ft-4.987.

Snider launched hard and kept it hooked up with a good pass.

Right Lane: Pete Farber Runs 6.053/202.55, Now #6

Biehle kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove to the number one spot. Michael Biehle's incremental times: 60ft-1.023 sec., 330ft-2.657, 660ft-3.894/201.04 mph, 1,000ft-4.944.

Farber with a good looking pass until right in the lights when there is puff of smoke and he slows. He still goes to the number six spot. Pete Farber's incremental times: 60ft-0.973 sec., 330ft-2.594, 660ft-3.877/191.27 mph, 1,000ft-5.001.

Frigo with a great pass to go to the number one spot. Sidnei Frigo's incremental times: 60ft-1.020 sec., 330ft-2.650, 660ft-3.884/202.30 mph, 1,000ft-4.927.

Whiteley was right there with his to go to the number two spot. Steven Whiteley's incremental times: 60ft-0.958 sec., 330ft-2.571, 660ft-3.836/196.42 mph, 1,000ft-4.912.

Whiteley with severe tire shake right at the hit and clicked it off.
