POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 53rd annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Severance is just a tick off his qualifying time for the win.

Shields with his quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort.

This is the first time Demke and Nataas have faced each other in eliminations.

Demke is a few ticks too quick on the tree and turns on the red light to give Nataas the win. Nataas runs low E.T. of eliminations. She will have lane choice over Severance in the semifinal.

Bateman with the starting line advantage, but is up in smoke right at the hit and shuts it off. Cowie is straight down the groove with a great pass for the win.

Eakins with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Litton shook and pedaled it, but couldn't chase Eakins down.

Eakins with his quickest pass this season for the win, but will give up lane choice to Cowie in the semifinal.
