POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 53rd annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 68 degrees, relative humidity 60 percent, barometer 28.95 inches, adjusted altitude 2,339 feet, track temperature 80 degrees.

Self is 1 - 0 against McGaha in prior events.

McGaha is a few ticks too quick on the tree and turns on the red light to give Self the win.

Self with a good looking pass for the win.

Enders with a slight starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Johnson started drifting out of the groove and toward the centerline before he had to pus the clutch in.

Enders with her quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

Kramer does one his long smoky burnouts for the fans.

Line with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He will have lane choice over Enders in the next round.

Kramer shook the tires right at the hit and pushed in the clutch.

Greg Anderson has six wins at this race and he is the defending event champion. His win in Las Vegas was the 90th of his career and he became just the 6th driver in all classes to win 90 or more races. His 150 final rounds are second best in the Pro Stock class behind Warren Johnson's 151. Greg is 12-3 in round-one matchups at this event.

Anderson is 7 - 0 against Prusiensky in prior events.

They have identical reaction times and Anderson had the lead when they went by the Christmas tree and never trailed from there on for thew win. Anderson will have lane choice over Self in the next round.

Prusiensky with his quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort.

Jeg Coughlin's last win here was in 2007. He also won this race in 1999 and 2005.

Coughlin is 4 - 0 against Hartford in prior events.

Coughlin with a great light and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. Jeg Coughlin's MOV: 0.0037 seconds (approximately 14 inches). Coughlin's car was loose, but he stayed with it for the win. Coughlin will give up lane choice to Butner in the next round.

Hartford is just a tick off his qualifying time in the losing effort.
