Nothing wrong this time, as the Camry powers off the line and makes a clean and straight pass into the top half of the field i the #6 spot. Nice pass... Arend has to lift and coast, as the tires are smoking right at the green. J.R. Todd's incremental times: 60ft-0.881 sec., 330ft-2.274, 660ft-3.200/280.14 mph. Densham makes another strong pass until right in the lights, where the blower blows loose on the top of the motor. There is a little fire, but nothing serious. He will stay #9 with a lot of work to do before session four. TJ had a strong leave, but the tires were loose just past the 60 foot clocks. Gary Densham's incremental times: 60ft-0.901 sec., 330ft-2.296, 660ft-3.231/273.77 mph. 1:20 p.m. Time for some dusting and cleaning on the top end. He has enough inertia to move into the field in #15. Hagan is clean and straight to the finish line to move ten positions up the ladder to the top half of the field in #6. Great pass for the conditions. Matt Hagan's incremental times: 60ft-0.885 sec., 330ft-2.260, 660ft-3.189/279.50 mph. Hight is still not the field after two passes. He leaves hard and looked to be on a great pass until right at the 330 lights, where the slicks come loose. He pedals and finishes the pass to just get on the current ladder in #16. Force gets a better tune up this time and is able to move up a spot into #7. Robert Hight's incremental times: 60ft-0.865 sec., 330ft-2.254, 660ft-3.464/208.42 mph. John Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.882 sec., 330ft-2.272, 660ft-3.192/280.78 mph. And he does with a near career best ET and a career best speed. Worsham finally gets a representative pass and moves away from the bump up into the #11 spot. Bob Bode's incremental times: 60ft-0.894 sec., 330ft-2.321, 660ft-3.271/272.83 mph. Del Worsham's incremental times: 60ft-0.895 sec., 330ft-2.292, 660ft-3.225/277.32 mph. He does his part and Tobler did his and the NAPA Charger powers right up the ladder four spots to #5. DeJoria's Camry leaves hard and then there is a pop from the engine. Ron Capps' incremental times: 60ft-0.876 sec., 330ft-2.242, 660ft-3.157/281.19 mph.
