POMONA, Calif. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 53rd annual Auto Club NHRA Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Steve Graham Runs 24.512/34.75, Now #20; Best prior run: 19.954/42.94, Was #20
Right Lane: Joey Grose Runs 6.944/195.53, Now #18; Best prior run: 6.952/195.05, Was #18

Weather conditions: air temperature 72 degrees, relative humidity 50 percent, barometer 28.83 inches, adjusted altitude 2,728 feet, track temperature 92 degrees.

Graham with severe tire shake right at the hit and clicks it off and coast on through the 1320.

Grose improves, but not enough to get in the show.
