Force and Hight have each won 21 times against the other in prior events.

Hight gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Force leaves the line, the car gets out of the groove and heads for the wall. He gets about 300 feet out, hazes the tires and backs off the throttle. hight goes right down the groove with a good pass to take the win.

With the win, Hight takes over the points lead by 15 over Ron Capps.

Hagan is 14 - 12 against Worsham in prior events.

Worsham hits the throttle, gets about 60 feet out and goes up in smoke. Hagan goes right down the groove with a clean, straight pass to take the win.

Johnson hits the throttle and didn't move five feet before going up in smoke. Beckman goes right down the groove with a good pass to take the win.

Beckman will have lane choice over Hagan in the next round.

Force is 12 - 7 against DeJoria in prior events.

DeJoria gets the advantage off the line and stays in front past the sixty foot mark. Force goes around her at that point and starts to pull away. DeJoria got about 800 feet out and started slowing, not sure why. Force goes on through and takes the win.

Courtney Force's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.010), 330 ft(0.014), 660ft(0.044). MOV: 0.1545 seconds (approximately 59 feet).

Force will have lane choice over Hight in the next round.
