LAS VEGAS - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 17th annual NHRA Toyota Nationals:

Torrence and Langdon have each won 12 times against the other in prior events.

Langdon with a slight starting line advantage, but Torrence had the lead by the time they go by the Christmas tree. Torrence then starts to smoke the tires around 330 feet and he pedaled it. Torrence's engine then lets go with a quick fireball. Langdon has the lead by 400 feet and takes the win.

Millican is 9 - 4 against McMillen in prior events.

McMillen with the starting line advantage, but Millican had the difference made up by the time they went by the Christmas tree. Millican then starts to smoke the tires by 150 feet and pedals it, but can't chase down McMillen.

McMillen with a great pass, straight down the groove and he will have lane choice over Langdon in the semifinal.

Schumacher is 9 - 4 against Pritchett in prior events.

Schumacher with a slight starting line advantage, but she has the lead by the time they go by the Christmas tree. They are side-by-side until Schumacher starts to drop cylinders around the 1/8 mile mark. Pritchett kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to run low E.T. of the round for the win.

Force is 11 - 9 against Kalitta in prior events.

Force with the starting line advantage as Kalitta has problems when the light turned green. Force then starts to haze the tires, but still gets the win. Kalitta then idles down the track. Force will give up lane choice to Pritchett in the semifinal.
