Hough is 3 - 0 against Januik in prior events.

Hough leaves the line and goes right down the groove with a clean pass. Januik hits the throttle, the car barely moves and he comes to a stop about two feet off the line.

Lombardo Jr. is 2 - 1 against Leanders in prior events.

Leanders gets out of the gate first and starts pulling away. Lombardo makes a good pass but was losing ground all the way through the run. Leanders goes on through and takes the win.

With the loss, Lombardo is out of the race for the National Championship.

Hough will have lane choice over Leanders in the next round.

Martin hits the throttle, gets about 20 feet out and bangs the blower. Dixon goes right down the groove with a clean, straight pass to take the win.

Westerfield is 8 - 7 against Gordon in prior events.

If Westerfield wins this race he is the national Champion. If Gordon wins it goes to Pomona.

Westerfield gets out of the gate first, gets about 200 feet out and rattles the tires. He pedals and recovers but Gordon was pulling away. Gordon goes right down the groove with his quickest pass of the event and takes the win.

Gordon will have lane choice over Dixon in the next round.
