Gordon gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Whiteley is able to make up ground after the 330 foot mark but runs out of race track. This was the quickest side-by-side race in history.

Gordon makes the second quickest run in TAFC history to take the win, his second this year and the ninth in his career.

Whiteley runs the fifth quickest pass in history in the loss.
