Smith leaves the line, gets about 300 feet out and the engine goes silent. Savoie goes right down the groove with a clean pass and pulls away for the win.

Pollacheck gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Krawiec starts gaining ground and reels him in just before the 1000 foot mark and goes around for the win.

Krawiec will have lane choice over Savoie in the final round.
