Januik and Whiteley have each won 1 times against the other in prior events.

Januik gets out of the gate first but goes up in smoke. He makes a move to the left, pedals once, but he can't get the slicks to bite and has to abort the run. Whiteley goes right down the groove with another great run to take the win.

Her ET is tied for fifth on the quickest in history Her speed is the fifth fastest in history.

Westerfield is 8 - 6 against Gordon in prior events.

Westerfield gets out of the gate first, stays in front to the 330 foot mark, then Gordon pulls even and goes around him. Gordon continues to pull away and makes the second quickest pass in history to take the win.

Gordon will have lane choice over Whiteley in the next round.
