MADISON, Ill. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, sixth annual AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals:

Capps is 3 - 1 against Lindberg in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round.

They come off the line together, Capps starts pulling away, then Lindberg is able to make up a little ground after the 330 foot mark. Lindberg continues to gain but Capps holds on and takes the win.

With the win Capps now has 58 career wins, eight this year, and he has a 26 point lead over hight.
