Lindberg gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Hight goes right down the groove with a clean, straight pass but was falling behind all the way through the run. Lindberg goes right down the groove and pulls away for the win. and will go to his third career final round.

Force is 55 - 33 against Capps in prior events.

Force gets out of the gate first, stays in front and extends his lead to half track, then his car makes a quick move toward the wall and he has to back off the throttle. Capps is able to go around Force about 800 feet out and take the stripe for the win.

Ron Capps' incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.005), 330 ft(-0.006), 660ft(-0.027). MOV: 0.0473 seconds (approximately 19 feet).

Lindberg will have lane choice over Capps in the final round.
