Gasparrelli is second off the line by a tad and then shakes the tires loose.

This is the first time Westerfield and Cox Jr. have faced each other in eliminations.

Cox nails the tree with a stellar 0.006 light and then starts to pull steadily ahead. Right after the 330 lights the blower goes BANG and his race is done.

Westerfield runs another low five fifty and gives up lane choice in the finals to Gordon by just 0.004!
