POMONA, Calif. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 52nd annual Auto Club NHRA Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.636/208.59, Now #12; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.612/209.49, Now #9; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 28 percent, barometer 28.97 inches, adjusted altitude 2,808 feet, track temperature 93 degrees.

Kramer with his quickest pass of the weekend to go to the number four spot. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.989 sec., 330ft-2.776, 660ft-4.269/165.17 mph, 1,000ft-5.554. Delco with his quickest pass of the weekend and goes to the number nine spot. Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.773, 660ft-4.258/166.13 mph, 1,000ft-5.536.

Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.569/211.30, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.575/210.70, Was #2

Hartford with a real nice pass, his quickest of the weekend to go to the number nine spot. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.763, 660ft-4.250/166.13 mph, 1,000ft-5.528. Anderson was s straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend, but will stay in the number two spot. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.985 sec., 330ft-2.756, 660ft-4.232/166.99 mph, 1,000ft-5.502. Anderson with the fastest pass of the event.

Left Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.610/208.78, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.622/208.33, Was #12
Right Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 6.659/208.07, Now #16; No Prior Run

Coughlin with his quickest pass of the weekend to move up the ladder two spots. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.761, 660ft-4.246/165.97 mph, 1,000ft-5.529. Prusiensky with a good clean pass to get in the show. Alan Prusiensky's incremental times: 60ft-0.988 sec., 330ft-2.784, 660ft-4.285/164.47 mph, 1,000ft-5.575.

McGaha was straight down the groove to get into the top half of the show. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.757, 660ft-4.240/166.07 mph, 1,000ft-5.518. Skillman with severe tire shake right at the hit and pushed in the clutch. Strong with his quickest pass of the weekend to move up the ladder one spot. Aaron Strong's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.774, 660ft-4.263/165.56 mph, 1,000ft-5.546.

Gray with a real nice pass, straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend and the second quickest pass of the session. He goes to the number three spot. Shane Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.753, 660ft-4.230/166.97 mph, 1,000ft-5.501. Johnson with a good pass, but will not improve and will stay in the number eight spot. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.990 sec., 330ft-2.775, 660ft-4.261/165.94 mph, 1,000ft-5.540.

Left Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.570/210.97, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.587/210.37, Was #5
Right Lane: Vincent Nobile Runs 6.570/211.13, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.597/210.50, Was #7

This was a great side-by-side drag race as they run their quickest passes of the weekend. Nobile gets the spot based on his faster speed. Alex Laughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.979 sec., 330ft-2.751, 660ft-4.228/166.89 mph, 1,000ft-5.499.
Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.753, 660ft-4.229/166.74 mph, 1,000ft-5.501.

Line launched hard and kept it hooked up with the quickest pass of the weekend to improve on his number one qualifying spot. Butner with a great pass, his quickest of the weekend and the second quickest pass of the session to go to the number two spot.
